Panama Canal

“Downward” lock towards the Sea of Caraîbes.
We are finally “going down” towards the Caribbean and the stress of the passage starts to grow blurred but it is an experiment not to be missed…
To 6.00 of the morning we are ready to release the mooring buoy of Balboa Yacht Club who “lodged us” during nearly three weeks, "damaging" a little bit more the “case of edge”. There is, in addition to myself, on board Grisette, the Panamanian pilot, my Christophe team-member, Petra, Cindy and John. A team-member by hand lines because I chose “center rafting” in order to pass the three up locks .

50 miles East from Colon there is a great Bay: Portobello were
